BRIDGE 1
A diptych comprising two bridges, Bridge 1 and Bridge 2: bridges that connect, reach beyond and bring people together rather than keeping them apart. The world needs many more such bridges. In this work, I wanted to capture their lines. Using acrylics and pastels, I created a visual dialogue between distance and connection. Blue and white bring serenity, while the orange arch and black marks introduce a powerful sense of movement. This painting is about finding a way through the storm, a message I hope will resonate with and energise any space it inhabits.
