WHO I AM
I am an artist, an architect, curious, thoughtful, quarrelsome when necessary. I like to test myself, dare, try, research. Art has accompanied me all my life, because it is only through art that you challenge yourself, make mistakes, laugh, grow and improve. Thia Path is my artistic name, which I invented to call the new person who was born in me and who I discovered as I painted.
Art taught me that you can start from scratch, listening to your own voice, not taking yourself too seriously, believing in it and having fun...
WELCOME TO MY ATELIER!
Today in my colorful atelier in Piacenza, I dedicate myself entirely to art.
I work mainly on canvas, paper or cardboard with acrylic, oil, wax crayons, chalk, ink, but also using other materials. I love creating colors and letting myself go. In my laboratory you will find my works, some figurative that tell moments and stories in imaginary landscapes, others abstract where the contrast and dialogue between the colors makes the work have its own light, inviting you to get lost in the colors. Works that can illuminate your living and working environments making them vital, energetic, different, new!
And if you need help deciding what to do, don't hesitate to contact me, remember that I am also an architect/designer, so I can help you decide how to best furnish spaces.
My works are present in various private collections in France, Spain, Argentina, USA, Chile, Portugal, China, England, Sweden, Italy.
And you too can become my collector!
«Il segno appartiene al tempo: fissa un istante, una memoria. Il colore invece lo trascende, dissolve i confini e ci conduce verso l’infinito, verso ciò che ancora non conosciamo.»
Thia Path
WHAT THEY WRITE ABOUT ME
Thia Path's painting is distinguished by a mature and confident technique, based on acrylic and oil on canvas, enriched with pencil and pastel. Her brushstrokes are broad, full-bodied, and controlled, a sign of her thorough mastery of the medium and her consolidated practice. Her language is part of a personal reinterpretation of American Abstract Expressionism, resulting in partially figurative, balanced, and coherent results in terms of composition and style.
The works convey an intense, positive energy, never chaotic, but always well-managed: solid and calm compositions that remain dynamic, luminous, and vital at the same time. Color, gesture, and atmosphere create a fluid, almost musical universe, made of reflections, vortices, and sparks, conveying a sense of well-being and emotional depth.
The artist demonstrates a full technical and stylistic maturity. His language is authentic and recognizable, one that could evolve further only through subtle personal variations, perhaps exploring a more marked dialogue between abstraction and figuration. His ideal references range from Rothko to Lee Krasner, from Miró to Twombly, with echoes of Picasso and Monet, without ever losing his strong identity.
In the context of the contemporary art market, Thia Path's work appears solid and coherent on a commercial level, even internationally.

RilassARTE TOGETHER WITH ME
I love teaching and transmitting my passion to others and sharing the benefits that art brings, through immersion in gestures and colors. I will guide you to let yourself go freely, sometimes laughing and singing, exploring who you are, your voice and your style in a space where the feeling of freedom, fun and relaxation is guaranteed.
«Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.»
